Returns and refunds

If for any reason, you’re unsatisfied with the products you received or have simply changed your mind about purchasing them, you can return them within 100 calendar days of delivery and get a refund. Please note that while the products remain in your possession you are responsible for keeping them safe, secure and in good condition. All items must be returned in their original condition, including possible manufacturer packaging, tags, and any accessories. Shoes should be tried on indoors and underwear over another piece of garment. Please ensure returns are carefully packaged.

If the product you want to return is defective or broken, or you received a wrong product, contact us by e-mail at [email protected] or via our webstore chat. We usually respond on weekdays within about a day. Please do not return a defective product before contacting our customer service. No return fee will be deducted from your refund amount if a need for return was a result of a faulty or incorrect product.

Our customer return process and the cost of return varies by country. Please read the instructions and details below before sending anything back to us.

1. RETURNS FROM USA

RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

You can return items for a refund via the original payment method. If the size or colour of the product was unsuitable, you can alternatively exchange it for another size/colour. The cost of a UPS return label is $15,99, which will be deducted from your refund amount. This applies if you are returning items from orders placed after 1.11.2024. You can select the new size or colour during the return registration process, as long as the product is available at the time of return. We will deliver the replacement products to you without additional delivery cost using the same delivery method as in your original order or by letter if they fit in an envelope.

If you're in a big hurry and need to for example get a larger size fast, you can return the product for a refund and place a new order for the replacement size. If you wish to replace the product you are returning with something different altogether, place a brand new order for the product in our online store. In these instances, the new order will incur a new delivery cost.

CREATE AN ONLINE CUSTOMER RETURN AND SEND THE RETURN PACKAGE BACK VIA UPS

You can return products from the USA back to us via UPS by first creating an online return order via the customer return link. After generating an online return, you’ll be able to print out a prepaid ($15,99 cost deducted from your refund amount) UPS return label from the return confirmation email. You can find the customer return link in the purchase history of your Regular Pig account or in the top corner of the electronic receipt of your original purchase. Detailed instructions for creating a digital return and/or exchange and sending the parcel back to us are given through the digital return registration process.

When dropping off your parcel to a UPS location, remember to ask for the tracking number and a receipt for your return, so that you can follow the delivery of your return to Varusteleka. Lost shipments will not be refunded without a tracking number.

We will refund the money or send the exchange products to you as soon as your package has been received and the products have been checked. We will notify you via email when the return has been processed.

2. RETURNS FROM EU COUNTRIES

RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

You can return items for a refund via the original payment method. The cost of a return label is 7,99€, which will be deducted from your refund amount. If the size or colour of the product was unsuitable, or if you wish to replace the product you are returning with something different altogether, place a brand new order for the product in our online store. In such instances, the new order will incur a new delivery cost.

CONTACT US FOR A RETURN LABEL AND INCLUDE INFORMATION INSIDE THE PARCEL

We're able to generate a return label for you. If you wish to return something, please contact us first to request a return label and to notify us about what you wish to return. We will email you a pre-paid return label (7,99€ cost deducted from your refund amount). We can create a return label free of charge for returns from Sweden and Germany.

Once you have your return label, prepare and return your parcel with information. Please include a note in the package with your contact information and other details about your return, for example print your original receipt and mark the returned products by circling the product number, or clearly write on an A4 size paper your original order number, your name and contact details, the products you are returning and the reason for returning.

SEND YOUR RETURN PACKAGE TO US

Customers from Sweden and Denmark can drop off your parcel (with the return label we provided you with) to Bring courier locations.

Customers from all other EU countries can drop off your parcel (with the return label we provided you with) at your national Postal Service locations.

If for any reason you wish to return from the EU at your own cost without using our pre-generated return label, you must still contact us with what you are returning and provide us with the tracking number of your return. Don't forget to request for proof of posting. Send your package with a returns note inside (see above) to:

3. RETURNS FROM THE REST OF THE WORLD (OUTSIDE USA / EU)

You can return items for a refund via the original payment method. If the size or colour of the product was unsuitable, or if you wish to replace the product you are returning with something different altogether, place a brand new order for the product in our online store. In such instances, the new order will incur a new delivery cost.

PREPARE AND INCLUDE INFORMATION IN YOUR RETURN PARCEL, NOTIFY US WITH RETURN DETAILS AND TRACKING NUMBER

You'll be responsible for the cost of returning items to us . Please use either your national postal service or DHL express, we may not be able to accept returns sent via other courier delivery services. Make sure you use a delivery service that insures you for the value of the items you are returning and obtain proof of posting.

Please include a note in the package with your contact information and full details about your return. For example, print your original receipt and mark the returned products by circling the product number, or clearly write on an A4 size paper your original order number, your name and contact details, the products you are returning and the reason for returning. Please also make sure to include our email address, "[email protected]" on the parcel. Otherwise, your package might be returned to you.

Always inform us about your return by sending us an email to [email protected] or use our chat. You must include information about the products you returned and the tracking code for the return. Failure in this might result in your parcel being rejected at Finnish customs and being sent back to you.

4. CUSTOMER RETURNS WITHIN FINLAND

If the size or colour of the product was unsuitable, you can alternatively exchange it for another size/colour, as long as the product is available at the time of return. We will deliver the replacement products without additional delivery cost to you using the same delivery method as in your original order or by letter if they fit in an envelope.

If you wish to replace the product you are returning with something different all together, place a brand new order for the product in our online store. In these instances, the new order will incur a new delivery cost.

When dropping off your parcel, remember to ask for the Posti or Matkahuolto tracking number and a receipt for your return, so that you can follow the delivery of your return to Varusteleka. Lost shipments will not be refunded without a tracking number. If you used Smartpost and still have the code, you can use it to return your parcel from the same Smartpost unit.

RETURNS TO OUR STORE

Our Store in Konala, Helsinki can accept returns and exchanges for both store purchases and goods ordered from the online store. The way it works is that you pop in our store and explain your situation at the counter, and we will help you succeed in your return. So please don't make an online customer return in advance. Please note that in the case of online purchases that are returned to the store, we ask you to tell us the order number of the original order or the name of the subscriber and the exact time of the order as possible. If you return store purchases back to the store, remember to take the original receipt of the purchase with you (which is also stored electronically in your Kantasika account, if you mentioned it at the checkout when making the purchase, handy!).
