Product description

This utility pouch from Baribal is specifically made for a 1-liter Nalgene bottle. The size is also suitable for longer objects that have some bulk to them.

Made from 1000D Cordura, features two-way YKK zippers with silent Paracord pullers. D-rings on the sides and a loop base on the front for patches. Mil-Spec NIR properties. The color is a bit greener than Ranger Green but less saturated than Olive Drab. See the comparison picture.

The PALS straps in the back can be weaved to form 50 mm loops for use on a non-PALS combat belt.

Does what it is intended to. A Nalgene bottle fits pretty snugly. It may not fit, if you use other than the standard cap for the bottle. The quality is very good, durable, but not overbuilt in material strength. Good stiching and good overall construction. I attached it to the side PALS webbing of my Savotta Jääkäri M. The colours do not match exactly with the green of the Savotta rucksack, as told in the description/pictures above.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Fits a 1 L Nalgene bottle snugly, but without being a pain to insert or remove. Also fits my 16 oz. Contigo insulated travel mug, and I would expect most other travel mugs sized to fit in Keurig-style coffee pod-brewing machines. Materials and construction are what you would expect - perhaps slightly less overbuilt than similar pouches from Sarma, but not at all cheap or flimsy. One nice feature is that this pouch uses only two columns of PALS webbing instead of three like the Sarma medium pouch of about the same size, so it fits on the sides of the Sarma Assault Pack while the Sarma medium pouch does not (although note the color difference, if you care about that kind of thing). My only minor complaints are that the zippers open much lower than is really necessary, raising the chance you will dump the contents of the pouch if you are using it to hold assorted small items, and that the PALS straps doesn't have snaps, velcro, or other positive retention at the ends like some other pouches do. I haven't had any problems with the straps coming loose, however, so this is probably just a personal preference. Overall, a very decent pouch for a reasonable price.
