A basic rifle mag pouch for two AR-15 magazines from Baribal. Better protection and retention compared to open-top pouches.

This type of magazine pouch has changed very little over the past 20 years: elastic band to keep single magazines in place, flap with hook-and-loops, and a drainage grommet in the bottom. As a specialty, these have a textured grip area on the inside of the flap. Made from 1000D Cordura. Mil-Spec NIR properties. The color is a bit greener than Ranger Green but less saturated than Olive Drab. See the comparison picture.

With a single AK magazine, the flap closes and overlaps a decent amount but there are better options available as the pouch is not intended for that use.

The PALS straps in the back can be weaved to form 50 mm loops for use on a belt without an adapter.
