Cut quickly through seat belts and other straps, and even leather boots in an emergency situation with this mil-spec strap cutter. The longer handle provides greater reach and leverage and features an oxygen valve wrench. Keep one in the car and one with you wherever you might need it. Each tool comes in a MOLLE/PALS pouch. Made in the USA.
The single-piece steel handle of this longer strap cutter is unclad for maximum portability and minimal weight. So it won’t bulge uncomfortably under clothing. The hole in the handle is an oxygen valve wrench. Overall length 163 mm (6.4").
The cutting edge is inset in a hook shape and sharpened on one side only. The blade is made from 440C stainless steel (58-60HRC). Originally designed for ball bearings, valves, and gears, this high-carbon stainless steel is commonly used in all sorts of knives.
This fixed-blade strap cutter comes with a pouch that has five rows of PALS webbing. Some of these feature the previous owner's Malice clip; others don't. At the moment, all pouches are coyote brown.
Used military surplus. We weren’t given more details this time but would wager a guess that these are US military strap cutters. Some have seen more use and some none. And "use", usually means that they have been carried around. There might be some dust or dirt on the pouches or other signs of use, but these tools are all still perfectly serviceable.
