British GSR (General Service Respirator) field bag in woodland DPM camo. Even if you don’t need it for carrying your CBRN protection equipment, you could use one anyway. It works e.g. as an affordable camera bag, a handy sling bag, or for carrying (some of) your cans to the beach party. Also an ultra-chic handbag.
Instead of being a hard, crumpled lump of a sack-like the old PLCE haversack, it is square and roomy. It is also lightly stiffened and slightly padded. The main flap has both a snap and velcro closure along the edges. This comes also with a PLCE-type belt loop with velcro and snaps closure, that fits belts up to c. 55 mm (2.2"). Furthermore, there’s an adjustable waist/shoulder strap with a side release buckle on the backside and an adjustable leg strap with a side release buckle at the lower back edge of the buckle.
On one of the sides there’s a small exterior pocket with a velcro closure, which is divided into smaller compartments. The inside lid has two elastic straps for attaching something that you want to find easier, and there’s another one at the bottom of the back wall. Inside the bag, there’s also a fist-sized smaller pocket with a velcro closure.
Outer measurements c. 30 x 26 x 12 cm (12" x 10" x 5"). This will vary a bit depending on how much crap you shove in this.
Weight c. 470 grams (1.04 lbs).
Genuine British army surplus but in as good as new condition.
