Winter mittens of the German Bundeswehr. The older, olive green model.
The traditional name for mittens is no-can-doo. But freezing your fingers isn't a good idea either: good luck pulling the trigger with a blue popsicle that once was your index finger. Let's not pretend these are Mechanix gloves, but they do a damn good job keeping your hands warm.
The shell of the gloves is made of durable nylon with leather reinforcements covering the palm, lined with fake fur. A waterproof membrane is hidden between the outer shell and fake fur. However, we can't give any promises regarding the membrane - these are used. Let's just say getting these wet in normal use is still quite a challenge.
Regular glove sizes. The sizes run large: these have enough space inside to stack in a pair of normal gloves. It's a good practice too: when you have to fine tune something, drop the mitten to hang from it's wrist loop and you still have something to protect your hands.
Used, but in good serviceable condition.
