The Dutch Tanker Coverall is a very practical and well-designed piece of garment. Great for hanging around, ice fishing in style, at home or working in the garage, or driving an AFV.
Most countries utilize a coverall for armored vehicle crewmen. This is simply because such garment is great for spending time in confined spaces and it won't snag on anything. This coverall is meant to be used year round; during summer as is, and in the winter you're supposed to use a separate liner (which we unfortunately don't stock at the time of writing), or anything else warm. Made of a durable cotton-polyester blend, this is a solid choice for environments at or below room temperature. The coverall is not restrictive to wear despite the thick fabric.
The coverall is simple but the few features are important. The front closure is a heavy-duty zipper that opens from either end to ventilate or for relieving yourself. It goes all the way up to the turtleneck collar and has a storm flap with snap-fasteners. For really cold weather, the inside has attachment buttons for a thermal liner - not included. These can be fitted with Särmä Jacket liners, the Medium Long and Large Long fit the sizes 6080/9000 and 6080/0010 respectively. Not all buttons line up perfectly but it works well enough. You could also try our Särmä Merino Wool Terry Overall!
As usual, you'll find two leg pockets on the front. The left forearm and lower leg have small pockets with flaps and the left side also has a chest pocket with a shape suitable for a service revolver or pistol with a slim slide.
On the sides there are zippered passages to access your pants' pockets. The waist and cuffs have elastics for a better fit. The leg cuffs are plain.
Both shoulders and the back panel have evacuation webbing handles. The back handle is pulled out through a zippered passage in the upper back. It can also be opened for ventilation.
Lightly used or unissued; the condition is very good!
