Quite lightweight and very comfortable winter rubber boots for Arctic weather conditions. The manufacturer’s comfort rating is -40 degrees Celsius (40ºF). Excellent to walk in for long distances. Perfect for hiking, hunting, ice fishing, work, and everyday use. Also good for slushy weather and cold weather canoeing for folks that freeze their toes easily.
The manufacturer gives the boots a comfort rating of -40 degrees Celsius (-40ºF). These ratings are, of course, very subjective and depend on your feet. In any case, they are suited for very cold weather.
The rubber outsole tread pattern is called All-terrain Gripper 2.0™, but it is enhanced with the Lynx ice-Grip+ elements designed for snowy conditions. It gives you a very good grip in snow, but the boots are still comfortable to walk in for long distances. It has added width for stability and to fit thick socks. A thermoplastic polyurethane midsole absorbs shocks and insulates against cold without making the boot feel stiff.
The upper is made from a very strong vulcanized natural rubber compound known as G1® 70. There is also an extra reinforcement at the top edge. The boot has a 5 mm neoprene lining together with a 2 mm G1 Air spacer that circulates the air in the boot preventing condensation. The specially developed Coil lining™ fabric transports moisture effectively away from the foot and leg during sweaty activities.
These are quite lightweight for being winter boots; one boot only weighs c. 1,150 g (size 43). Made in China.
