When you need to waterproof a Silnylon tent, only a silicone tent sealant will work, because silicone will only stick to silicone. So, do it right or you will be cursing in the rain. This clear sealant dries to a flexible rubber that works on all silicone-treated gear, including tents, tarps, and ultralight backpacks. Fast and easy to use, it’s also handy for repairing pinholes and small tears.
This stuff bonds to silicone-treated fabrics and prevents water from seeping through the seams. It creates a water-tight seal that won’t peel or crack over time. It seals seams and patches small holes and tears for years to come. It dries to an elastic, rubber seal suitable for items that bend and wobble here and there. This tough, weather-resistant goo is not affected by extreme heat or cold.
Note! This is specifically designed for Silnylon fabrics. If you need to seal or repair some other fabric type, use Seam Grip WP instead.
