Here you have very tough, padded, and insulated gloves for working in winter without freezing your fingers or busting your knuckles. Whether you use manly machinery, ski to school around the year, or kill zombies with an axe on Christmas Eve, these gloves will keep your fingers warm. Windproof, water-repellent, padded, and tactically black.
Combining functionality and heat is always a compromise. Thick Wookie mittens keep your fingers warm but prevent you from doing anything, and skin-tight precision gloves allow all the ninja tricks but with frozen fingers. These are somewhere in between. They have quite nice insulation but you can still do stuff.
The gloves protect you from the evil wind, repel water, and they have 100g/m2 PrimaLoft® insulation. Furthermore, they feature padded knuckles, and rugged Armortex® reinforcement.
Because of the insulation and reinforcements, the fingers are fairly thick, so they’re not ideal for shooting or other tasks that require fine motorics. However, shoveling snow, using machinery, construction, and various other outdoor tasks in winter work very well. They offer a very good grip and protect your fingers and knuckles from getting bloody.
The manufacturer mentions that you can use the touchscreen with the forefinger but it pretty much means that you can answer the phone or otherwise swipe with it. Writing text or selecting numbers is quite a soul-eating experience.
