If you were looking to get an extra set of size 38/5.5 liners sometime around the 19th of November 2023, you were probably out of luck. That was because they were so good, that I just had to buy the last two pairs. I have a longer review of the Nokian Naali boots on that page, but for the liners specifically, let me start out by saying that Nokian does not lie when they say these are 90% wool. I did a burn test, and the flame extinguished itself fast, plus it smelled just like the time my hair caught on fire (or times...plural). The wool itself is thick and warm, and also quite snug, even with a single pair of merino socks underneath. It's incredibly moisture-wicking; after just a little bit of wear, I found the inside of the liner almost completely dry, and the outside, a little damp. Still a good idea to have multiple sets of these around; at least one other, but ideally two for a longer trip to keep the rotation effective. There have been some concerns, for example, posted on Varuste.net about how the liners fall apart, but this seems to be an issue mostly relegated to sizes 42 and above. If that's a concern for you, I suggest using liners from a different company, or adding reinforcement stitching, especially around the heel. Either because I'm wearing a smaller size, or because I'm a wuss who doesn't do ~ real ~ outdoorsman stuff, this has not been an issue for me. Also on Varuste.net was a complaint that the liners for the 38 didn't fit, and bunched up at the heel. Yes, it does in the beginning, but after a few minutes of walking, the motion of your heel in the boot eventually sets the liner straight. And the little lumpiness in the beginning isn't that uncomfortable for a few minutes anyways.
