Waterproof dry sacks are ideal for people who adventure in extremely wet conditions and for gear that you really want to remain dry. When hiking and camping, the smaller ones are handy for protecting your camera, cell phone, and other electronics. All sizes are especially nice when canoeing or otherwise traveling on water. You can even attach these to your canoe, so they don’t escape if your canoe goes blub, blub, blub. A nice bonus is that you can leave dry sacks out in the open overnight without getting your gear wet. This saves a lot of space in your tent. If you have bears in the area, you might wanna hoist them up in the air though.
Even though these are extremely tough, you can get through them with your Skrama. So, don’t pack knives, caltrops, spike mats, or other sharp implements inside or stab them in a fit of rage when you accidentally step on your only sixpack. Luckily these are also easy to mend if some A-hole puts a hole in your sack.
Note! The closure of all PS490 dry bags must be rolled at least 3-4 times to ensure that water will stay outside. The given length is after rolling, so the actual length when open is c. 20 cm / 8" longer.
