Product details
Product description

Take a stroll down memory lane with this Polish flashlight – those sweet childhood times when you used to play Normandy with the gang, and signal the reconnoitering forces already on the mainland. As one would suggest, use this flashlight for play stuff, and get modern ones for real situations. One-off lot!

Features

This is a metal box that opens on a hinge. The inside has very simple electronics and a place for a spare bulb. There might be a couple of flashlights with the spare bulb in place, but no promises. These things should work when a battery is inserted and switched on. The light output is quite moderate, but on the other hand, these have such simple electronics that you are probably able to fix them yourself, unlike modern stuff today. Keeping that in mind, these might also work well in dystopian hellscapes after a nuclear war, as long as batteries and bulbs are available.

  • Takes a 4.5V flat battery
  • Metal loop for hanging
  • Bloc green color
  • The flashlight has a green and a red slider – if you combine them, it’s X-ray light or something, as far as we can remember

Polish surplus

These flashlights have not been used, but they might have some scuffs from decades-long storage. They are from the country of shipyard strikes and bison grass vodka.

A signal lantern manufactured by CZM "Domgos" (metal works factory in Częstochowa) at some point in the 1980's . Dimensions are 105x25x30mm. It came with one spare 3,5 Volt bulb. It has one push-button, and a slide lever to operate. The lever was covered in a sticky substance, but washed away with water. The internal mechanism is simple and held together with a few rivets. You can replace the incandescent with an LED. Overall in excellent condition.
