Wide selection of designs
New ones are added from time to time. These are not filler material, but the designs actually tell a story. You can also come up with your own meaning for these if our ramblings don't strike a chord. On the latest models, the reflector and carabiner are connected with a keyring. OG models get this treatment once the ball-chained ones are sold out.
Camping / Bushcraft Themes
The Campfire calls you to gather around, roast food, and tell stories exactly as our ancestors did for hundreds of thousands of years. It's a hub of social bonding but could also save your life in the wild.
Hanging a Coffee Pot over a campfire is a traditional way of making morale-boosting beverage. This is something no barista can replicate with their fancy Italian machines.
Storm lanterns or hurricane lanterns bring light into darkness and a little bit of warmth as well, if you put your hands close to the globe. These kinds of lanterns are made today even as electric variants, it's such a well-loved model and ageless design it represents. Size: 57x110 mm (2.25" x 4.35")
Animal Themes
The Bear is the king of the forest. And if you see your enemy riding bears towards you, consider the game lost. The plural of bear is beer.
The Fox is cunning and playful but fools you into thinking it's dumb. Don't fall for it!
Wolf, Winston Wolf? Nah, just The Wolf. Your problems are none of their concern. Wolves voice their contempt for earthly problems by howling.
Combat Themes
The Gas Mask doesn't divide people into lovers and haters. Rather, most people who have used a gas mask both love and hate it. Wearing one can cause distress and restrict your breath and speech, but when you need one, you are glad you have it.
If a Hand Grenade won't solve your problem, it's more than a serious one. From leaking water taps to fallen leaves all over your driveway, the possibilities of using a 'nade to great effect are virtually endless.
The KP/-31 aka. Suomi SMG is an iconic bullet hose designed by Aimo Lahti. It was quite possibly the finest-made submachine gun at the time or ever since. Stamped steel models were cheaper to mass-produce but nothing feels more reassuring than a precision-made tool. Size: 85x40 mm (3.35" x 1.57")
The RK62 is a Finnish-made version of our neighbour's AK-47. These were manufactured with such precision (see a pattern here?) that the Israeli Galil was in turn developed from the Finnish Valmet RK. Still in service with no end to be seen! Size: 85x40 mm (3.35" x 1.57")
The Finnish Anti-Tank Mine has quite a bit more explosive charge compared to many others of its kind. While the usual AT mines you would find around the world have 2-5 kg (4.4 - 11 lbs) of high explosives, ours has a whopping 9.5 kg (20.9 lbs) of TNT in it. We commonly use yellow practice versions made from concrete and these 12.5 kg (27.5 lbs) "Poise Pills" are things a Finnish infantryman's dreams are made of. Diameter: 70 mm (2.76")
