A larger version of the Särmä TST Rifle Magazine Pouch for battle rifle magazines such as the G3, FAL, M14, and others. The versatile pouch can be used with the flap, with the elastic band, or as an open-top pouch. You can also use it as a general-purpose pouch.
For the regular AR/AK size, here's the Särmä TST Rifle Magazine Pouch.
The other side of the pouch has an intricate rubber band setup that goes further up than in other pouches. It will push the magazine in place also from above. There are also L-shaped plastic reinforcements on the sides and the bottom of the pouch.
Thanks to its design, the pouch expands evenly when you push in a wider magazine but also hugs the slim ones securely like a Russian wrestler.
You can use these pouches with the detachable flap, with the elastic band, or as an open-top pouch. The flap is held in place with Velcro, so you can adjust the height and angle freely. This way you can use magazines of different shapes and sizes. Because the flap is detachable, you can also turn this into an open-top pouch.
Additionally, you can anchor the mag in place with an elastic band, which can either be attached the traditional way in the middle or you can put it on the side where it won’t be in the way when you put the mag back in the pouch.
Särmä TST Rifle Magazine Pouches are manufactured by the German MD-Textil, which is a family-owned business dedicated to tactical and technical gear. They make gear for the special dudes of the German army and border guard. They utilize state-of-the-art machines, which are almost as precise as German workers themselves.
They deliver only the best quality and maintain sustainable production, and they are in close cooperation with special forces personnel. The sewing thread, L-shaped plastic parts, and elastic bands are all made in Germany. The Velcro is made in Spain, and other plastic parts are made in Italy.
