Modestly put, this is the best battle belt on the market. We couldn’t find what we wanted elsewhere, so we designed our own. Thanks to the ergonomic design, the weight is distributed evenly. Very versatile attachment options make it possible to strap pretty much anything you need on this. Requires a separate duty belt inside.
A high-quality battle belt is a must-have for military stuff and also useful for other situations where you need to put a lot of gear on your belt in a practical manner. It is extremely nice to be able to put pockets on and take them off individually without having to take apart the whole crap like with more traditional belt loops. We have paid extra special attention to usability when designing our belt.
You'll find PALS-surface almost on the whole length of the Battle Belt. Instead of sewing, we used LASER-cut Cordura for three particular reasons. First of all, this design keeps pistol mag pouches and other narrow items more securely upright. Furthermore, it ensured a lighter and flatter belt. Third, it reduces manufacturing time and materials required, which saves money.
Normally, battle belts are straight, but when you put a straight and stiff belt around your waist, it squeezes and chafes in the most annoying ways. That’s why we designed this completely differently. Our belt is curved, which means that it caresses your curves in a much ergonomic way. When you put this on, the weight of all your gear is distributed evenly and the belt will not bite into your skin even after extended periods of use.
This is designed to be used with a separately sold duty belt. We recommend the Särmä TST Cobra Duty Belt but virtually any high-quality equipment belt will work. You can push the duty belt completely under the laser-cut PALS webbing. This way you attach the pockets, holsters, etc. to the PALS webbing only. However, you can also weave the belt under and over various sections of the webbing, which enables you to attach stuff on the duty belt as well - and retains the pouches on the PALS-webbing more securely.
Furthermore, we left the bottom part of the webbing open in three sections. This enables you to attach things to the duty belt from underneath. This way you can attach a drop leg holster, a gas mask bag, or other suitable gear to the belt. These various attachment options make this battle belt extremely versatile.
¨The battle belt has loops for a 45 mm (1.8") duty belt. The loops keep the belt from swinging here and there like a madman’s dick. You can also use a 50 mm (2") duty belt, just don’t use the loops. The wider belt will stay in place even without them.
These battle belts are manufactured by the German MD-textil, which is a family-owned business dedicated to tactical and technical gear. They make gear e.g. for the special dudes of the German army and border guard. They utilize state-of-the-art machines, which are almost as precise as German workers themselves.
To deliver only the best quality and maintain sustainable production, they are in close co-operation with special forces and do not source basic materials from low-wage countries. The fabrics, webbings, and sewing thread are made in Germany. The Velcro is made in Spain, and plastic parts are made in Italy.
