DP10 as in Day Pack, 10 liters, is a small roll-top pack with generous PALS webbing for additional pouches and gear. Extremely simple, extremely reliable (and easy to repair if ever necessary). Can be integrated into a rucksack (as a daypack lid) or vest/body armour (as a combat pack) using separate adapters.
Besides the main bag compartment, the DP10 also features a simple yet clever compartment that sits against the wearer's back. This compartment is flat on the outside but its inside wall bellows into the main bag providing enough space for gear such as a rain poncho or roughly 2 liters / 70 ounces of water in a hydration bladder.
Although this looks like a dry sack, it isn't designed to be one! If you forget this and submerge the pack, you'll be quickly reminded about it when the water seeps in from the seams.
The shoulder straps are removable for different mission requirements. They attach to steel D-rings for unmatched durability and strength.
Flat, made from webbing. Unpadded construction for a shallow profile to minimize bulk and interference when shouldering rifles. These are included with this model.
Firm, padded and shaped offers an anatomic and comfortable fit for extended use with heavy loads. You can purchase these separately.
You can also choose to buy just the main bag without shoulder straps in case you have plans to attach it to your plate carrier or use straps you already have. You can also mix and match the colors this way, how convenient!
Like the flat removable ones, but fixed. If you desire extra comfort when carrying heavy loads, we recommend the Särmä TST Sling Pads.
The top and bottom corners of the compartment are open, this enables the shoulder straps to be tucked in and hidden away when not in use (for example when attaching the DP10 onto a larger rucksack, load bearing vest or body armour as a day pack).
Backpacks with darker colors are manufactured in co-operation with Finn-Savotta Oy (Finland's leading military and outdoors gear manufacturer and the main load-bearing equipment contractor for the Finnish Defence forces). Depending on the situation, production runs are sewn either in Savotta's Finnish or Estonian factory, sometimes even partially in Finland and partially in Estonia. The little printed tags tell where exactly each particular product was sewn. The M05 Snow Camo backpack is made in the Czech Republic by Finnish CPE.
