It's easy to find all kinds of superlight bags that are indeed feathery but don't inspire confidence in the long run. These Savotta Stuff Sacks are in a league of their own and endure harsh punishment, probably to TEOTWAWKI. If you fear the end is nigh, understand that we try to imply a very long time here. With the fabric being lighter and more pliable, these are suitable for smaller packing and organizing purposes but the largest size is big enough to cover a small rucksack. The shape is oblong to use the volume more efficiently than totally round sacks.

The fabric has a waterproof PU coating but the seams are not taped. You can set the sacks on wet ground in the rain without soaking water like a napkin but after years of hard use, the fabric and coating will wear, and the water-resistance degrades. Use small and lightweight waterproof bags for gear and equipment that are sensitive to water.
