A rain poncho is one of the smartest items you can own. When it rains, there's no need to fuss with other clothing; just throw this on over everything! This lightweight poncho with a chest pocket is easy to carry and suitable for both city and natural environments. Use

It's not a bad idea to keep one of these with you, for example, in your backpack, car, or boat, as you never know when the monsoon season might hit.

The most common use is as a poncho worn over all other clothing, but the grommets on the sides and corners can also be used to create simple rain shelters. It's large enough to cover a medium-sized backpack, so you might not need a separate rain cover for your pack if you have the poncho with you.

The high-visibility orange variant is a bit of our own specialty; usually, these ponchos are only seen in forest colors. This high-vis version was originally designed for hunting, but it's also a smart choice for walking or cycling in traffic during bad weather, changing a tire on the roadside at dusk, or just for outdoor use if you don't need to hide from people.

The poncho is packed into its own chest pocket by first pulling the pocket "inside out" and stuffing the poncho in there. The pocket has a two-sided zipper.
