Finnish M05 liner socks

My favorite socks of all time. They don't have the left/right foot design cus they don't need'em. Sweat into it for an hour or two and they form fit your foot. Thin, yet still plush enough for a nude sock. They might wear a hole easily with abrasion I get the sense, but looking at the price the idea seems to be to use'em up and swap'em out.

Very nice, odor-free socks. Great for general, day-to-day use.

I looked it up, half of my Varusteleka orders had these socks in them, because before submitting the order, I often look what else would be worth adding in. Then I go ‘Oh, the nice socks, I wouldn’t mind another pair,’ and a pair adds just 10 EUR to the total. (They were daylight robbery in the beforetimes, when they were 7 EUR/pair.) I wear them as normal socks for pretty much everything between lounging around the house and hiking. shoes range from everyday sneakers to hiking shoes and combat boots, as well as walking around the house in just the socks a lot. I’ve worn just the socks in the workshop and had them stuck all over with wood shavings, so they really don’t get coddled. No durability issues, and they still look good. Performance is as you’d expect from a thin merino wool sock: Deals very well with sweat and doesn’t stink, it’s not especially warm all by itself and it doesn’t have the plush cushioning you know from dedicated hiking socks. Perfect general use, normal-day sock.
