Lightweight, sleek, and durable
The Magpul Bipod is made of Mil-Spec hard-anodized 6061 T6 aluminum, stainless steel, and injection-molded polymer. The internal mechanisms and hardware are concealed in a low-profile and streamlined design to avoid snagging and bumping into things.
In the deployed position, the bipod's "take-up" can be removed with forward tension without fear of failure or warping. The legs are ovalized for maximum strength in the forward-back direction. Forward tension helps stabilize the rifle, allows it to move naturally during recoil, and return to the same position with high repeatability.
The staggered rubber feet grab a variety of shooting surfaces and are easily removed with a roll pin punch. The legs accept most Atlas pattern bipod replaceable feet, except for the Atlas 5-H style.

Using the bipod for support when folded has also been considered: The legs are durable and smooth enough to simply lay on anything you need. As the exterior is polymer, you're not scratching the finish of metal pieces. A soft rubber cap on the locking knob protects the knob itself and the surface you use.
Made in the USA.
Easy to use and functional
All adjustments are designed for one-handed operation to deploy and adapt to the surface with ease. The legs can be swept down from the folded position with one stroke of the hand.
Leg extensions slide and lock securely with the push of a button on any of the seven half-inch spaced locking detents. The locking button is located intuitively at your thumb when you grab the leg. The legs extend a full 102 mm or 4 inches.
A generous 50° of tilt and 40° of pan are adjustable for friction via a knurled knob between the legs. Flipping a spacer disk in between the bipod and mount allows you to lock the pan at 0° while maintaining tilt functionality.
