It works, stuff might get snagged slightly (such as on doors with push bars. if your belt is not 2 inches wide, it will still work, but will move around quite a bit more (could be resolved by stuffing a bit of gauze or getting a belt with the ideal width). stuff goes in pretty easily (even with the plastic-sheathed design of the X4A and similar products from 3M), secure hold while not being too tight. Stuff comes out easily with a simple, intentional upward twist. I bumped mine quite a few times and it holds up well, only some light gouging from rubbing against brick. Works decently with objects that have a loop such as some water bottles. Expect whatever you're hanging to bump against your leg if you're moving fast with it, which while not terribly comfortable, works great for reminding you to put your hearing protection on. The small bag it comes in is a clear, moderately flexible plastic with a zipper and durable enough for repeated use.
