Well, this map application doesn't require batteries! You'll just have to get the maps and learn to navigate, nothing more. In reality if you're in the outdoors for a longer stretch of time, it's pretty smart to have the real, analog map of the area just in case technology fails. This low-profile case keeps your maps neat and dry.
Behind the window there's another thicker compartment for even more documents. The whole front face is covered by the flap. There's a very spartan rope for carrying the case. You can replace it with your own creations if you want to show your wealth.
Inside dimensions 24 x 18,5 cm (9.5" x 7.3"), so these will easily fit A5 size papers with some extra room too. The thicker compartment is 2,5 cm deep (about an inch), or 5 cm, depending on the model variation.
A true oldie but goldie, some of these might be from the wartime. Some used, some not. The coarseness and colour shade of the material varies from case to case and there's some differences in the details but generally these are "the same".
